Windows 98 set-up
The following instructions describe
how to configure a new Windows 98 dial-up connection
to Mega-Dial
1. Double click the My Computer icon on your desktop.
The following window should appear. Now double-click
the Dial-Up Networking icon.
2. Double click Make New Connection
3. The network connection wizard will now start.
Type Mega-Dial for the name of the new connection
and click Next to proceed.
4. Next you'll be asked for the phone number for your new ISP
connection. Enter the Mega-Dial number, which is 0845 123 2022
5. The final window for the Make New Connection
Guide appears. Click Finish and follow any on-screen
instructions.
You have now configured your computer to use Mega-Dial
as your ISP.
6. To connect to the Internet click the Start menu
on the desktop, select Settings, and then click the
icon you named Mega-Dial.
